On November 14, the first meeting of graduates of the three groups of the strategic program “Sophos. Joint. Cyber” — Alumni Fusion – 2025 took place. The program was created by the GC3 Global Cyber Cooperative Center together with the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to form strategic leadership in the cybersphere.
The participants reflected on strategic communications in cyberspace with Natalia Pinchuk, practiced scenarios for countering information threats in the simulation game “Operation: “INFOUNIT_A1D2″” moderated by Vasyl Slychko, and discussed ways of managerial decisions in a panel discussion with the participation of Sergey Sverchkov, Andriy Kotyk, and Volodymyr Vakhitov. Igor Stelnyk presented his view on the change in the paradigm of creating protection systems and the transition to an information security system based on NIST profiles.
The second part of the program covered an asymmetrical view of strategist training in a discussion with Orisa Demska, Viktor Kozlovsky, and Gennady Nikolaychuk, moderated by Vitaliy Lavrov. Yaroslav Gonchar and Rena Marutyan examined the evolution of technology in the context of kinetic warfare and cognitive strategies for mind control.
Alumni Fusion – 2025 created a platform for the exchange of experience in the field of strategic thinking and cybersecurity between graduates of different groups of the program.
Over the three years, the “Sophos. Joint. Cyber” provided a study process for senior managers in the security and defense sector: representatives of the National Security and Defense Council, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the State Special Communications Service, special services, the National Police, the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine , the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, critical infrastructure, software developers, research and academic institutions, volunteers and other managers. During this time, it created the prerequisites for the unification and development of horizontal ties for 142 participants from about 60 institutions.
