GC3 has signed a Cooperative Agreement with ClearView AI (USA)

On July 1, 2022, the Memorandum on partnership and cooperation was signed between the Global Cyber Cooperative Centre GC3 and the innovative company ClearView AI (USA).

The signing of the Document will contribute to the combined efforts of GC3 and ClearView AI to provide access to innovative facial recognition technologies, helping law enforcement agencies prevent crime and build a safer world.

The importance of signing of the Agreement is determined by the fact that from now on, law enforcement agencies will have much greater opportunities to establish personal data of suspects. During the martial law and the subsequent recovery of Ukraine from the consequences of the war, this is of great importance, and it will also contribute to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of our state.

ClearView AI is a privately held American company that innovates and provides the most advanced technologies to government agencies to investigate crimes, increase the level of operational response of law enforcement agencies and strengthen public safety.

The platform, developed by ClearView AI, uses facial recognition technology. It covers the largest database of 10 billion face images obtained from web sources: public websites, news media, mugshot websites, public social media and other open sources.
