On Safer Internet Day, which is celebrated this year on the 9th of February, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the Global Cyber Cooperative Center announces the start of accepting electronic application forms from this year graduates of general secondary education institutions to participate in the second Open Internet Olympiad on Information Security “Young Cybererudite”.
The Ist round of online testing of the level of knowledge of the Olympiad participants will take place on the 20th of February, 2021. During the second round of the Olympics, which will take place on the 27th of February, 2021, the top ten participants of the first round will perform online practical tasks using computer equipment.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to realize the abilities of talented students, stimulate creative self-improvement of student youth, popularize the achievements of science, technology and the latest technologies.
Ten participants of the Olympiad, who will go to the second round of the Olympiad, will receive prizes from the public association “Global Cyber Cooperative Center ” depending on the place in the second round of the Olympiad:
For the first place:
– tablet “Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0” (2019) 2 / 32GB LTE Black “;
For the second place:
– backpack for the laptop “2E 16” Black “; – Power Bank “Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 20000 mAh USB-C 18W White”;
For the third place:
– wireless Bluetooth portable speaker with built-in FM radio “Sven PS-420”;
For IV place:
– backpack for the laptop “2E 16” Black “;
For V place:
– Power Bank “Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 20000 mAh USB-C 18W White”;
For VI-X places (5 winners):
– USB-flash drive “Kingston DataTraveler SE9 32 GB”.

The basis for participation in the Olympiad is the application form of the participant, which must be completed electronically by 11 p.m. 00 min on the 19th of February, 2021 at the link.
