Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, the Security Service of Ukraine has neutralized more than 250 powerful cyber attacks, a dozen bot farms and blocked 50,000 social media accounts. In two months, hundreds of Internet agents were exposed who acted in favor of the occupiers, spreading disinformation and propaganda, justifying russia’s armed aggression, discrediting the Armed Forces and even calling for the physical destruction of the Ukrainian people as a nation. Anonymous has published 365,000 emails (211 GB) from the russian real estate investment company Accent Capital. As of April 21, more than 6 TB and 6 million russian documents and emails had been leaked by Anonymous after they declared a “cyber war” against the Kremlin’s criminal regime. The world is beginning to understand that russian hackers will not limit themselves to Ukraine
U.S. cybersecurity authorities in the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom warn of a rise in russian-backed hackers, both in Ukraine and abroad. This was reported on the website of the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
