The government computer emergency response team of Ukraine, CERT-UA, discovered the spread of fraudulent publications in popular messengers offering to receive social benefits for Ukrainian refugees. To do this, it is necessary to follow the link and enter data for entering online banking, which will be compromised as a result. Criminals use phishing sites that imitate popular Ukrainian banks. The mentioned fraudulent activity is systematic in nature and is tracked by the identifier UAC-0100. 1
Ukraine and Slovenia are Strengthening Cooperation in the Field of Cyber Defense
The State Service of Special Communication and the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Information Security in the Cyber Defense Sector have signed a Memorandum of Agreement. The document will provide an opportunity to join forces for the development and distribution of new technologies that contribute to the introduction of a secure global information space; as well as the development of joint approaches in countering cyber-aggression. «Only by joint efforts can we face cyber threats, which continue to grow. Ukraine, which is repelling the attacks of the aggressor during the first cyber war in the world, needs increased support from its partners. At the same time, we are ready to share our own unique experience gained during the confrontation with the enemy. This is cooperation from which all participants will benefit,» said the head of the State Service of Special Communication Yuriy Shchygol. The signing took place in the presence of the heads of the foreign policy departments of both countries. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, emphasized that the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement by Ukrainian and Slovenian state bodies in the field of cyber security and information protection is a new stage of cyber dialogue, which will allow mutual strengthening of the resilience of information systems against attacks by russian hackers.

Attackers Shut Down WordFly, Siphon Arts Institutions’ Data
Digital marketing platform WordFly has been down for over two weeks. The attack affected clients such as the Smithsonian Institution and Toronto Symphony Orchestra WordFly, a Seattle-based marketing platform used by arts, entertainment, culture, and sports firms, is living through a cyber nightmare. The company has been unable to resume operation for 17 days since hackers breached the firm on 10 July. WordFly provides its users with mailing list services, data monitoring, and other digital marketing services.
