Dear friends and partners!
It is trite to point out, but the year 2022 became an incredible test not only for Ukraine, but also for the entire democratic world: we faced challenges that humanity has not seen since the World War II. The “Global Cyber Cooperative Center” (GC3) was at the center of events in Ukraine and the world related to the cooperation of the international community, which came to the defense of Ukraine on the cyber front.
Despite the radical change of context and the terrible russian aggression, GC3 remained true to its own vision, adjusting its strategic actions and products in accordance with the requirements of the time. GC3 has continued to create and deliver unique cyber products for its key customer, the statesman-like manager who is able to consciously operate at a scale larger than the system entrusted to him.
So, GC3 moved forward to realize the vision, namely, to be a brain center, a trusted hub of the cyber community, a Front-Desk of cyber security of Ukraine, which is recognized at the international level. And in this movement, we relied on our three pillars: strategic product development, analytics and study process.
At the strategic level, we not only developed relations with existing partners, but also formed new alliances with those who sincerely wanted to support Ukraine in cyberspace. We acted as an integrative visionary platform between cyber centers of the world, creators of cyber security solutions and Ukrainian defenders of cyber space. We are grateful to our long-time American partners NCFTA (National Cyber Forensic & Training Alliance and its President Matt LaVigna, who from the first days of the large-scale russian intrusion supported us in every possible way. We have formed a new alliance with another American initiative CDAC- U (Cyber Defense Assistance Collaborative for Ukraine) and its CEO Greg Rattray for their incredible support throughout the year. We are grateful to all cyber security solution and product manufacturers, primarily Qintel, Recorded Future, Tenable, Microsoft, CISCO, Splunk, CloudFlare and others, with whom we were able to increase the cyber resilience of our law enforcement officers and representatives of critical infrastructure. We helped to provide the needs on the cyber front for the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the State Border Service, the Cyber Police, the SSU, the Office of the Prosecutor General, State Bureau of Investigation, the State Service of Special Communications, Naftogaz, and the NBU. Together for the protection of Ukraine’s cyberspace, we provided assistance worth hundreds of millions of hryvnias .
In the analytical direction, we continued our work on countering fraudulent operations in the online sphere and helped the Cyber Police and IC3 (Internet Crime Compliant Center, the USA) to expose the illegal actions of some citizens that damaged the image of Ukraine and the USA. In 2022, we focused our attention on relations between russia and Ukraine in cyberspace, helping to block malicious online resources of the enemy and creating analytical news digests (which you can read every two weeks on our website) about important events in the cyber sphere of Ukraine, russia and the world.
In terms of study process, we organized professional stdy programs for the military, law enforcement and representatives of critical infrastructure together with partners Splunk, SANS and MITER. But we consider the launch of the first strategic leadership program in Ukraine, the program of special intellectual operations in cyberspace “SOPHOS. JOINT. CYBER” for representatives of the military, intelligence community, law enforcement, critical infrastructure and volunteers. We created this unique six-month program with the support of the NCCC and in partnership with leading Ukrainian philosophers, thinkers and doers.
Last year, we spoke at the NCFTA and ICCS international conferences in the USA, reported the truth about russian aggression, shared the experience of defense in cyberspace during the war, created new strategic alliances and learned. Our results were noted by CRDF Global (article) and recorded an interview with Click Here, the world’s #1 cybersecurity podcast . We have kept our team and are confidently looking to 2023. We have many plans and victorious actions ahead of us.
Glory to Ukraine!
