On April 1, the day after the anniversary of the liberation of Bucha from russian occupiers, representatives of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine reflected on the key stage of work on the implementation of the Strategy for the Investigation of International Crimes Committed in Armed Conflict.
The document was developed with the participation of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine with the methodological support of representatives of the Global Cyber Cooperative Center (GC3) and the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine.
Representatives of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine took the lead in implementing the strategic plan.
The result of the joint work was the formation of a strategic architecture for the restoration of justice – a systemic framework that ensures the inevitability of punishment for war crimes regardless of the time of their commission.
